Wire Cut SOP — documented workflow
01 · Pre-operational checks
Inspect the work area, machine condition, coolant, wire feed, emergency stops, tooling, fixtures and component alignment.
02 · Machine setup
Load the specified cutting program, set cutting parameters, perform a dry test, adjust wire feed and tension, and verify calibration and dimensions.
03 · Operation
Monitor cutting, coolant, wire feed, alignment, abnormal sounds or vibration, and adjust settings when required.
04 · Post-operation
Inspect the cut component, record measurements, clean the machine and return tooling and fixtures to storage.
05 · Reporting
Record completion time, component serial number and inspection results; report malfunctions, wire breaks and deviations.
06 · Maintenance & safety
The SOP specifies PPE, emergency procedures, daily cleaning and checks, weekly calibration verification and monthly detailed inspection.
